About Us

We met in the most random way – at a networking event in London, where we both really just wanted to skip the small talk and head home. We ended up next to each other at the buffet, debating which appetizer to grab: the salmon canapés or the mini burgers.

 

One awkward laugh and a shared comment about the loud music later, we spent the rest of the evening talking. Turns out, we’d both worked at major companies, had similar PR backgrounds, and shared a passion for helping people stand out in the right way.

 

By the end of the evening, we were more interested in each other’s vision for PR than in the food. A few months later, In the Spotlight was born. Sometimes, a good idea starts with a simple snack choice – and a lot of accidental chemistry.
